    Sylvain works from the heart to bring about spiritual development with psychological healing. He is focused on helping people achieve positive, tangible, and permanent changes. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the helping profession, he has helped his clients improve their life outlook on issues related to and including mental health and wellbeing, childhood trauma, problematic drug and alcohol use, love, loss and relationships, and professional development. Sylvain brings in his therapeutic work a unique multicultural and wholistic perspective which he draws from a mixed background, his life experience, and his training. He combines an in-depth empathic approach, mindfulness, and solution-focused skills, working both in English and in French.

    Sylvain has a particular interest in men’s health and wellbeing and has been involved with various men’s health services including Men in Mind one of Edinburgh first men’s mental health project.

    He has been a qualified psychotherapist since 2006 and holds a postgraduate degree in integrative and pluralistic counselling. Sylvain is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
