Counselling<\/h6>\n

I qualified as a counsellor in 2007, drawing on over 20 years experience as a mentor and coach. Further professional development has included training in dreamwork, abuse, sexuality and gender and trauma.<\/p>\n

I am an Accredited Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) working to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.<\/p>\n

I am fluent in French and happy to work with French speaking clients in their mother tongue.<\/p>\n

Business Coaching<\/h6>\n

Coaching support can range from very specific task work \u2013 short term with a clear purpose and goal \u2013 to helping someone break down a much bigger issue and subsequently working through the various sub issues. Often this is work related but not necessarily so. Help can be practical but may also involve developing personal awareness. This can help individuals understand their blocks to dealing with issues on their own.<\/p>\n

Coaching sessions may be very regular at the outset and more spread out as the individual develops to implementing their newly defined plan.<\/p>\n

Goals may be defined but they are not necessarily fixed in stone. The coaching sessions can involve reviewing and re-assessing as well as celebrating successes and achievements.<\/p>\n

In helping you explore career decisions, practical help can be offered in terms of completing application forms and preparing for interviews.<\/p>\n

Supervision for Counsellors<\/h6>\n

My supervision work can be for individuals or groups in both the coaching and counselling professions. I draw on extensive experience of personal supervision (individual and group) of my own professional work. I have completed a certificate in supervision and in group facilitation. As a supervisor I pay close attention to the style and needs of the supervisee(s) and look to integrate support with challenge to aid the professional development of the individuals I am supervising.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Susan qualified as a counsellor in 2007. She is trained as an integrated practitioner, with psychodynamic as her core model. She incorporates personal construct theory, cognitive behavioural therapy and person centred therapy. She has also completed the \u201cEssentials\u201d in psychosynthesis and training in dreamwork, abuse, sexuality and gender and trauma.<\/p>\n

Susan also offers coaching, helping to develop personal awareness and understanding blocks to dealing with issues.<\/p>\n
